Difference between belief and understanding
Prakash Kesari, Maharashtra India.
Belief and understanding are two distinct concepts. Belief refers to accepting something as true or real without necessarily having concrete evidence or complete knowledge. It’s often rooted in personal feelings, faith, or cultural influences. On the other hand, understanding involves grasping the meaning, significance, or nature of something based on knowledge, reasoning, and comprehension. It goes beyond mere acceptance and involves a deeper insight into the subject matter. In essence, belief relies more on trust and conviction, while understanding relies on comprehension and knowledge.
