If from new-born to 20 years child is isolated, What about mind and knowledge at age 20
Prakash Kesari, Maharashtra India.
If a child were to be isolated from birth to the age of 20 without any external stimuli, interactions, or exposure to information, their cognitive development would likely be severely impaired. The mind requires external inputs and interactions to develop properly. In such extreme isolation, the individual’s cognitive abilities, including language acquisition, problem-solving skills, and emotional development, would be severely compromised.
Without exposure to language and social interactions, the individual might not develop a fully functional language system, making communication and expression challenging. The lack of exposure to varied experiences, information, and learning opportunities would limit the accumulation of knowledge and hinder intellectual growth.
At age 20, this isolated individual might have a very limited understanding of the world, and their cognitive abilities would likely be significantly below average. Their mind might lack the complex cognitive functions that are typically developed through social interactions, learning, and exposure to diverse stimuli. Overall, such extreme isolation would have a profound and negative impact on both the mind and the acquisition of knowledge.
